Yes I do believe that we can challenge a student’s critical
thinking skills by using blogging. I think that using blogging with our students
it can make them capable of using other tools in class rather than just pen and
paper. It also helps students become
more challenge and help students become more familiar with technology. When I was growing up I don’t remember my teacher
really letting us use technology and although I do remember having a computer
class that we would go once a week for 1 hour it was still not enough to really
learn unless you had a computer and learned at home which this was not the case
for me. If I would have been challenged
using blogs and technology in a early age I know for sure that I would have
been better at it by now. Students who
use blogs are capable of learning more since an early age for me students are
somewhat more intelligent.
As educators I believe that we can make a difference by
using blogs and technology is our classrooms we will enhance the students’
abilities to use technology and open their mind to what they are learning
through technology and also help them become more challenge in their work and
in class.
